Scoring Criteria:

Participant will be judged on Hifz, understanding of the verses, and proper Tajweed & Mkharej (if possible depending on the age group)
Final score is from 100 (75 Hifz – 10 understanding – 10 tajweed – 5 proper articulation or Mkhahrej)
There will be a short tafseer/description of each chapter (Surah) shared with participants
Participants will be asked basic questions about the memorized Surah during the competition to test their basic understanding of the verses
Participants will be tested on the base Surahs of their category. Participants should memorize & understand the bonus Surahs (if any). Bonus Surahs will be used to rank participants if the final scores of the base are equal.
