Welcome to Alnoor
Islamic Center for Muslims to Achieve Spiritual Goals

ALNOOR Islamic Center (AIC) is the fruit of three years of efforts to establish the first Islamic Center serving the area of Holly Springs/Fuquay-Varina, NC. The efforts started 2017 and was led by Muslim American Society Raleigh Chapter (MAS-RDU). Several opportunities were thoroughly investigated including several available land lots, renting a house or renting a commercial facility.

Finally, with the grace of Allah SWT and after three years of efforts, Allah SWT helped us securing the current building of almost 7000 square feet over 5 acres of land. The facility was secured on April 7th, 2020

Women's Activities

The Alnoor Women’s Committee aims to provide spiritual, social, and emotional support to Muslim sisters in the Fuquay-Varina, Cary, and Raleigh area. Our goals include:
-Empowering the sisters of our community to excel in their roles as mothers, wives, and as active and productive members of the community
-Bringing the sisters closer to each other and closer to Allah (S.W.T)
-Becoming the haven and shelter for all Muslim family members against the challenges of being a practicing Muslim in American society
-Building strong relations between Muslim families and families of other faiths

The Women’s Committee focuses on expanding masjid activities while providing classes on Tajweed and Hadeeth, in addition to general halaqahs, and fitness classes. The Women’s Committee strives to spread Islamic values within the women of the masjid while also influencing the Raleigh community. Through weekly and monthly programs, the committee brings scholars from around the area and arranges events to make the masjid a focal point of engagement.
