Furqaan: Quranic Arabic Language

The Furqaan program, developed by renowned Islamic scholar Nouman Ali Khan, is an Arabic language course designed to deepen students’ understanding of the Quran through classical Arabic. This course systematically covers Arabic grammar and vocabulary, starting with foundational concepts and progressing to more advanced topics, focusing specifically on the language of the Quran.
Students will learn to perform grammatical analysis of Quranic verses, gaining insight into how Arabic syntax and morphology influence the meaning and translation of the Quran. The program is taught in English, making it accessible while maintaining the integrity of the original Arabic.

Prerequisites:

  • Students must know how to read the Quran in Arabic, even if they don’t fully understand the meanings.
  • Phonetic ability is required (correct pronunciation of words).
  • Knowledge of the Arabic alphabet is essential.
  • Tajweed is not mandatory.
  • Ideal for Iqraa Program graduates.

Furqaan is designed for students aged 12-16, though younger students may register if they meet the above criteria. This program aims to empower students with the linguistic tools to understand the Quran on a deeper level.
